Tinker's Restaurant - Chef
Tinker's Restaurant is run by Husband
and Wife, Barry and Sarah, together with his Mum and
Dad, Jackie and Dave Tinker. This is our first venture
and we are immensely proud of our restaurant and the
success it is gradually becoming. An important factor
in this success must be accredited to the chef - Barry
Tinker.
With over 12 years experience in the
catering industry - he is more than qualified for the
job! Barry has achieved outstanding success in the kitchens
of many Four-Star + hotels, including 2AA rosette establishments.
During his time Barry has worked with some of London's
finest chefs, including the Head Chef at the prestigious
Ivy Restaurant in Central London. It is with this experience
in mind, that Barry has been able to produce some of
the exciting cutting-edge menus you see at Tinker's
Restaurant.
At the age of 24, Barry was appointed
as Head Chef for one of the Hilton Hotels in Central
London, making him the youngest ever Head Chef within
the Group at that time. He is immensely passionate about
his food and will happily recommend dishes to his customers
if they need a little assistance in choosing. Alternatively,
where the menu is not exactly to your dietary needs,
he is only too happy to come up with something different
providing he has the raw ingredients within the kitchen.
Everything about Tinker's has been
modelled on a very relaxed yet luxurious evening out.
The décor is tantamount to a domestic dining
room yet the food typifies that of a first-class restaurant
you would be most likely to find in London. Together
with our attentive service what more could you ask for?!
